To see a much more detailed map click here.  The map is big, so you may have to scroll around to see all of it.

At Ramsey there is no way to follow the tracks until you get to Rathdrum.  You do have two options of travel though.  Either continue straight onto W Diagonal road or take a left onto N Ramsey Road.  From N Ramsey Rd you can get photos of either direction just before the siding.  If you took the later, when you come to Hwy 53 take a right and then another right at Rathdrum onto Hwy 41 which will cross the tracks.  After that take a left to Hwy 53.  The Hwy 41 bridge is a good place to shoot trains as they run along in a long, low cut.  If you continued on Diagonal Road then turn left when you reach Hwy 41.  Continue into Rathdrum on Hwy 41 which actually turns into Hwy 53.  Either way you are now in Rathdrum, ID, where once more the tracks branch out to form 2 mains.  While you where getting here you would have passed a detector at milepost 41.2.  If this detector goes off, you had better hope that the train is coming your way because it is almost useless to chase it the other direction.   There is only one grade crossing at Rathdrum, but there is plenty of parking.  Now continue a mile west, and you will reach East Hauser which is the east end of Hauser Yard.
